Caring For Feral Cats

May be slow to load, be patient please.

Did you know that caring for a feral cat colony can help these cats live long, healthy, and safe lives?

Thanks to compassionate community members and support from NVHS, local cat colonies are getting the care they deserve. Providing proper shelter, regular food, and access to veterinary care through programs like Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) helps these cats thrive outdoors.

One of our incredible volunteers has been helping maintain a colony, ensuring the cats have sturdy, weatherproof shelters, fresh food, and health monitoring. We step in as needed to assist with food, shelter supplies, and vet care so that these cats are living the best possible lives in their outdoor home.

When a colony is properly managed, the cats stay healthy, the population remains stable, and the entire community benefits from reduced nuisance behaviors and fewer unwanted litters.
