More than 30 vendors will be showcasing their artisan crafts, handmade goods, jewelry, home décor, seasonal items, pet-themed products, and other unique creations. The PETS act would end the for-profit sale of cats and dogs in pet stores throughout Massachusetts. It also includes provisions that would end the use of testing animals for non-medical purposes, prevent public housing from creating breed and size based rules, and prohibit insurance companies from using breed in their underwriting, rating, and renewal decisions.
