A truly amazing NVHS supporter donated this basket and all of its contents to us to raffle off to you! She was moved to help raise money for rescued kittens and cats by the awful disaster this spring, when a fire destroyed the Happy Cat Sanctuary on Long Island.
Christopher Arsenault, who died in the fire, founded the cat sanctuary in 2006 after the death of his son, and spent the rest of his life devotedly caring for the cats he rescued.
In honor of Chris and his Happy Cat Sanctuary, we will be donating a portion of the raffle proceeds to the organizations that helped rehome the surviving cats.
